This illustration is for the book 'Mind-Controlling Bugs', a children’s non-fiction book about squirmy parasites, written by Aidan Doyle and illustrated by me. I wanted to emphasise the beauty of these bugs, especially this stunning iridescent Emerald Cockroach Wasp, whose shimmering carapace sparkles as it carries a victim to its lair to be zombified.
