Illustrator Bio

Joanna Bartel studied and completed a Bachelor of Arts (English) and a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication). She has a background in teaching and creative marketing but now works in children's publishing. Joanna has illustrated eight children's books (with more on the way!) and strives to create imaginative, playful and inclusive artwork for kids. She lives in Brisbane with her husband and children.
